What's in my Avène Bag?

Hey guys!

So I got sent this this adorable parcel a while back from Eau Thermale Avène.

So, What's in the bag?

Below I will mention the products and a short POV:

1) Avène Cleanance Expert

- Helps eliminate mild to moderate blemishes, spots, and blackheads.
- Light emulsion that is quickly absorbed and leaves skin feeling hydrated and mattified

My POV

Quite watery. It blended easily into my skin but left my skin feeling quite damp afterwards. It definitely gave it a natural matte finish.

2) Avène Sunscreen SPF 30

- Suitable for oily, acne-prone skin
- Dry touch
-  Paraben-free
- Photostable
- Water resistant

My POV

Being thicker than the Cleanance Expert, I had to spend a bit more time rubbing this into my skin. Much to my dismay, it ended up like other sunscreens tat I have used in the past; leaving my skin oily and shiny. It did not have a matte finish on my skin. It did however, last longer than most SPFs.

3) Avène TriAcneal Expert

- Targets blemishes and marks
- Moisturiser

My POV

This has a peachy colour and scent. I much like the look of the product! It did not a greasy feeling when massaged onto my face and had a dry touch, with my skin itself not feeling dry. This is a great moisturiser especially if you want to get rid of those old acne scars and dark marks!

4) Micellar Lotion

- Cleanses and removes make-up in just one step
- Skin feels cleansed, soft, comfortable

My POV

It burned my skin, but got the job done. Odorless. Was not very powerful against my makeup.

5) Avène Thermal Spring Water

- Direct connection between spring and production plant
- Sterile packaging
- No expiration date
- For irritated skin

My POV

This was the first time I tried a thermal water spray and it was definitely an amazing experience. Odorless and clear, it reminds of a natural spring bath! Although this has so many different uses, I used it to sooth my eczema on the back of my knee. It worked a miracle and didn't burn at all and soothed my skin. This has got to be my favourite Avène product.

I'd recommend the Thermal Water, TriAcneal EXPERT and the Cleanance Expert to anyone who is looking for a way to safely get a matte look on their skin, without all the harsh makeup!

A huuuuge thank you to Avène for sending me these amazing goodies!

Shea Butter (Non-Certified Organic),
Castor Oil
Avocado Oil
Virgin Olive Oil with Geranial
Citronella and Lemongrass Essential Oil. (Certified Organic )

This balm can be applied literally anywhere on your body and is infused with Rosehip and Shea Butter.

It has a leafy, nature-like smell. When I applied it to my skin, I found that it was not greasy at all! Top 10 Pink Lipliners

After the red and nude in the series, let us see the best pink lip liners today all three of which are really staples in my collection,a smudge proof lip pencil can work wonders to your lipstick, take a look;

Essence Lip Liner Cute Pink

The name itself describes the color really well. I just love this particular shade of pink; it is a perfect pink not too dark not too light. This is such a shade that will not wash out any skin tones, but at the same time is not very dark as well. I like wearing it on its own as well because of the beautiful color and creamy texture. It does not dry out my lips and feels very comfortable and lightweight.

MaxFactor Colour Elixir Lip Liner – 04 Pink Princess

The consistency is very creamy. It won’t make your lips look very dry. Also, a little bit goes a long way and by that, I mean that it is very pigmented.this pink has some gold undertones to it, it makes my lipstick last longer.

Lotus Herbals Seduction Lip Contour Definer in Pink Berry

This is a pretty mauve pink to have, This shade goes with a variety of lipsticks which is again a win-win situation for me.This liner is pretty good in terms of texture as it is neither too creamy nor too hard, that tugs or pulls your lips. You will get proper pigmentation with one stroke and does not budge easily

Colorbar Lip Definer – Mad Pink

The color is a peach pink, it is more on the pinker side, but it is a milky pink, so it is good for a base but it might stand out lighter than most of your pink lipstick, fill this as a base and cover the entire lips with your lipstick, then it works fine, it helps to make lippies last longer and stop any color bleeding.

World’s Top 6 Fashion Cities

Hello everyone. Most of us like to travel. Isn’t it?? Imagine if those travel destinations are fascinating in scenic beauty as well as have a bonus point of enhancing your beauty. I guess you won’t reject that offer. Here I am presenting you the most fashionable cities of the world.

London: Aaawwww now this my dream destination. You must have heard about London fashion week which is organised twice each year. It is one the major events which shows their love for fashion and clothes. London is said to have shops that vary from big luxurious brands to simple street shops where you can bargain.

Paris: Yes yes, how many of you are thinking to go their? Eiffel tower is not only the attraction girls, what makes an important mark is their fashion sense. Though an ancient city, Paris has fashion in its air. You will have every brand showcasing their collection in those super big malls and their designer store.

New York: How many of you have those NYC tagged lip colours and fashion accessories? Americans are lucky to have such an advanced city in their country. It is a city that never sleeps. You will witness the most fashionable clothing while you explore the city walking from one street to the other.

Milan: Well-known designers namely Giorgio Armani, Versace, Prada, Dolce&Gabanna have their roots in the city. Many of us have craved for getting a goodie from their store. I know they are really costly but what I have heard is they are a bit cheap in the city as compared to the cost they have in India.

• Tokyo: I usually watch TLC to stay connected with different amazing experiences of the world. One night I was watching a show on it which showed how people of Tokyo experimented with their clothes and their fashion sense. Those people were very bold in choosing their dresses and carried them with great attitude.

• Barcelona: This Spanish city is very beautiful. People here value modesty and they tend to dress conservatively. You will see people wearing casual clothes but they are very nicely fitted and of good quality. So you can expect good range of clothes on their streets and shops.

So friends these are the best recognised fashion landmarks of the world. Whenever you plan your next trip with your spouse, make sure you choose it keeping in mind the benefit you can have visiting a new place.

Popularity - What Does It Take?

Imagine you are a fish.  Not a big fish, but a small fish that is very easily taken for granted. You’re the fish that swims with a lot of other fish that look and act like you, so everyone can just blend in together.  Now imagine being a shark, the king of the ocean. You have lots of power, and are able to use it at your own will.
You sometimes swim with others like yourself, but are not afraid to swim alone because, no matter what, you will always rule in the deep blue sea.

This undersea food chain of social status is much like one that we have all experienced…high school.

High school is a time for everyone to find themselves.  This is the time to become who we will be for the rest of our lives.  This is where we grow up.  So is it important to be popular in high school?

Although psychologists have studied popularity for years, the issue continues to perplex men and women everywhere.

Former runway model, Tyra Banks, conducted a study on teenage social status on an episode of her talk show.  The study was based around what it was like to be popular and unpopular in high school. Tyra selected a handful of unpopular girls, and then chose the same amount of popular girls, all from the same school.  At first she interviewed each group separately. Then, she put the two groups together, and asked them questions that got the conversation going.  In short, the popular girls didn’t see anything wrong with being popular, and who is to say there is?  However, the unpopular girls saw the popular girls as mean and, as they referred to them, “fake”.
All of the unpopular girls had at one point in their high school career been attacked verbally by the “plastics”.
Another great example of this phenomena, is the 2004 movie Mean Girls. This is a prime example of how sometimes the popular group can take things a bit far, and just by wearing the right cloths and having a bit more money than the usual, pretty much anyone can get to the top of the social status faster than a blink of an eye.

So what is it about popularity that makes some people want to be a part of it so bad?
“I think it’s mainly the feeling of being accepted and recognized by your classmates. It makes you feel like you’re part of something and that is a very desirable thing in high school,” freshman Bridget says.

Popularity is something that aggravates, torments, and even makes us feel at ease knowing that there is a group of people to run it all.
Are you willing to do whatever it takes to become popular, become queen bee or prince charming?  What will you do to swim the sharks?

Let me know what you think in the comments section!
